I, Paula Casas was born and raised in San Diego, California. I grew up loving the music at a young age and very connected to my Latin roots. As a child I could remember my mother singing her heart away with her Latin music And also being a chaperon to my parents when they went to dances sitting watching the Both of them dancing there feet off to the 50’s “Swing!” and doing there fancy salsa moves to there favorite salsa & cumbias and that’s where it all started. As I got into my teen years I can also remember spinning those “Technic turn tables” to my favorite “Old School & them Oldie But Goodies” – DJing on Vinyl’s! I always told my friends that connecting to a music artists or a movie star would be something easy to do, as I myself desired to be in movies and in the industry from a young age. I have been developing a desire and passion and a drive growing up to my favorite idols like “Michael Jackson”, “Duran, Duran”, “Billy-Idol”, ECT….those are just a few to name. Telling myself that one day my dreams & desires will be a reality in today’s world. In the early 80’s I was into the “break-dancing era” with a crew called “The Floor Masters” from San Diego in those days that’s where the 2-up coming and in development artists came to surface in today’s Latin world “LIL ROB” (Robert Flores) and “LIL UNO” (Reyes) both from San Diego. In my young adult age I did some DJing anywhere from a house party to a night club spinning them old school tracks and the Latin salsa music. I was also putting in my time for my culture volunteering to latin/chicano organizations donating my talent and mentoring youth in teaching them the arts, college groups like meccha, magazine’s “Somos Raza”, “Teen Angel” and more! As I got older I grew more passion on wanting to learn more about the music industry, in the late 90’s that’s where I started to explore my options and excelling my desires and put forth my dreams I was approached by my first Latin music artist for “Artists Development Management” that’s when I knew it was time to develop my first business name “Latin Nation Entertainment” My long term goal with this name is to bring to surface the NEW ERA of Latin talent and put a new BLUE-PRINT of MCs to the un-touched Latin market. My explorations and experiences in the industry such as; Management, Scouting, A&Ring, Executive Producing, Video & Film Coordinating, Marketing & Promotions and Sales and working side by side with individuals from companies like; Univision, LATV, Universal, Thump Records, Urban Network, Johnson Management (Anthony Johnson) has given me great knowledge in this cut throat career in the music world and I thank those that have taught me the ropes in the music industry. In 2007-2009 I began to grow my team & company as a 1-STOP SHOP! That consist of ; A Management Team, Video&Audio Team, Dist.&Manufacturing Team, Marketing & Promotions and as we know of today’s technology we have the a “Digital Team” – Digital Distribution, Online Live Concerts, Online Radio, Online TV and more!!!! We in-house and provide ALL services and we are still in progress of growth to the next level! Latin Nation Entertainment, is formed as an entertainment production, distribution and performance company specializing in the utilization and maximization of current entertainment business opportunities offered through digital satellite music services, the worldwide reach of the Internet, as well as within the middle marketplace of the music industry and consumer venue. Latin Nation Entertainment, offers consumers of the digital satellite market, the Internet e-commerce market, the live performance market and the recorded product market the opportunity to obtain high-quality, professionally performed, expertly produced, efficiently distributed music products of many genres including, but not limited to, country, bluegrass, pop, jazz and religious sectors. Latin Nation Entertainment does not necessarily 'produce' products, but products become the 'evidence' of our services. When a performer or artist comes to us for packaging, the actual CD, digital satellite reproduction, music video, brochures, pictures, etc., can all be considered. 'Products'--all are expansions and fulfillment of that individual artist's 'performance' effort. It is difficult at best to foresee the products that may be utilized for each performer. A savvy production group (such as ours) will weigh the performance, charisma, audience acceptance, production grasp and overall marketability of each artist and incorporate only those peripheral 'products' that develop into viable components of the project. This requires good judgment, extensive experience, and strong management ability, not to mention perhaps the most important and elusive capability...that of 'reading' the market. Latin Nation Entertainment encompasses individuals with separate and unique abilities lending themselves to this process. The overall excellence in this endeavor, however, rests in the comprehensive combined expertise of the principals of this company, with their backgrounds in the entertainment industry, business management, marketing, accounting, production, public relations and solid business application. These strengths point to an overall understanding of the marketability and viability of each 'product' considered. Paula Casas, Owner/Founder of Latin Nation Entertainment The specialized nature of the company's business scope requires a leading management individual with extensive experience, background and contacts in the entertainment and music production fields. This is what is found in Paula Casas. Our visionary, entrepreneur and accomplished entertainer-executive is given her extensive performance career, one might think all of Paula’s qualifications for this present business venture would come from that quadrant. However, Paula has always believed that music, in addition to being the language of the soul, is and should be managed as a business. Hence, over the years of her career she has compiled a long list of music business accomplishments, some of which are--production of singles and/or albums for individual artists in various venues; negotiating recording contracts with mid- to major-level music companies for individual artists; producing as well as performing in the television pilot, "XXXXXXXXX," of which she still retains ownership.
